An Invitation
The Gilles-Villeneuve museum invite you to its expansion. More than 20
years after its opening, the museum begins an important change to
enhance its collections of objects remembering the Villeneuve story,
from Gilles to Jacques his son.
We wish to have you as friends and partners in order to complete the
huge work that need to be done for our establishment and its future.
You will find in the next lines many ways to help the Gilles-Villeneuve museum to modernise.
Also we are in search of partners to associate with our new show of 2010 : Mecanik, the exhibition!
The museum's impact
From it's oppening, the Gilles-Villeneuve museum received more than 250
000 visitors from over than 30 countries. The souvenir of Gilles
Villeneuve is still alive even after all those years.
The museum greets every year about 20 000 visitors. Located at
Berthierville, exit 144 of highway 40, over 10 000 drivers see the
museum each day passing on the Gilles-Villeneuve Avenue.
The Museum's web site (museegillesvilleneuve.com) is also visited by a
lot of racing fans. From it's creation, the Gilles-Villeneuve museum
has received many media coverage, written report in news paper as well
as on television and radio. And this, as well in Canada than in many
other countries on the racing planet!
Opportunities for you
To participate to the Gilles-Villeneuve Museum's Fundraising Campaign, here are the options:
-Sponsor one of out collection piece such as one of the Villeneuve
racing car, Gilles, Jacques or Jacques Formula Ford, Atlantic, Indy,
F1...
-Sponsor one of the Museum's section : the movie projection, the game
zone with our F1 simulators, the exhibition From Berthierville to
Maranello, or also the section Fans of Gilles...
-Become partner of the new exhibition for 2010: Mecanik! A way for the
visitors to discover the underworld of motor racing through an
interactive exhibit.
